Changelog

Every customer-visible release, newest first, with a date and a tag. No adoption numbers, no customer names, no releases described before they shipped.

In short

This is the KanchanFlow changelog: 14 dated releases of our RFQ-to-Order CRM between 2026-04-28 and 2026-08-27, each tagged as a new feature, improvement, bug fix, integration or compliance change. It is updated on every deploy and at minimum weekly.

Diagram titled "What shipped, and when", showing the seven RFQ-to-order stages from enquiry intake through to accepted order.

Compliance

GSTIN validation moves to live registry lookup

GSTIN validation on customer and vendor records now performs a live registry lookup instead of a format check. The returned registered legal name, trade name, state code, registration type and current status are written onto the party with a last-checked timestamp, and a mismatch against the name you typed is flagged. The state code feeds place-of-supply logic on every document raised for that party, so a wrong registration is caught before it produces a run of wrongly taxed invoices.

New feature

Orders module: Quote-as-Order, staged billing and partial dispatch

The orders module is live on every tier. An accepted quote revision converts to an order carrying its own line structure, and each line tracks ordered, dispatched and invoiced quantities independently so partial dispatch is the normal case rather than an exception. Staged billing supports advance, on-dispatch and milestone splits. The order stays open until all three quantities agree on every line, and keeps a permanent link back to the exact quote revision the customer accepted.

Improvement

Credit and debit notes reference their parent invoice

Credit and debit notes are now raised against a specific invoice rather than as free-standing documents. The note appears on both records, carries the parent's tax treatment, and reconciles into the same return period. Issued invoices are no longer editable — corrections go through a note, which is what keeps the trail defensible when a customer's accounts team queries a document a year later.

Improvement

Customer credit limits block dispatch before goods leave

A credit limit set on a customer is now checked when a dispatch is recorded, not at month end. When outstanding balance plus the value of the pending dispatch crosses the limit, the order flags before anything ships. Users with the right permission can override, and the override is written to the order with a name, a timestamp and the balance at the time of the decision.

New feature

WhatsApp broadcasts with segmented lists and delivery reporting

The WhatsApp Business Hub can now send an approved template to a filtered customer or dealer list as a broadcast, with delivery, read and reply counts reported back against the broadcast record. Replies thread onto the individual customer rather than into the broadcast, so a price-revision announcement that starts eleven conversations produces eleven threads on eleven accounts.

Integration

QuickBooks connector for invoices, credit notes and payments

The QuickBooks connector is live, joining Tally and Zoho Books. Invoices, credit notes, debit notes and recorded payments push across, with the customer matched on your chosen identifier. Starter selects one connector; Professional and Enterprise include all three. This closes the gap where the sales desk could see what was owed but the books of account had to be updated by hand.

Compliance

US tax: line-level taxability and exemption certificate expiry

US sales tax is now resolved per line rather than per document, so an invoice can carry a taxable part line, an exempt line and freight treated according to the destination state's own rule. Resale and manufacturing exemption certificates on the customer record now carry an expiry date; an expired certificate stops applying and flags on the account rather than silently continuing to exempt.

Improvement

Locked FX rates on quotes, orders and invoices

The exchange rate on a multi-currency quote is now captured at the moment you price it and carried to the order and invoice created from it. Rates no longer drift between quoting and invoicing. Re-rating is an explicit action that creates a new revision, so a rate change is something the customer can see rather than something they discover on the invoice.

Compliance

e-Invoice IRN cancellation inside the statutory window

A registered invoice can now be cancelled from the invoice record with a reason code, inside the statutory window, without a portal login. The cancellation, its reason and its timestamp are stored on the invoice and the document is marked cancelled rather than deleted. Registration failures now show the portal's rejection reason against the failing field, and the invoice stays editable for resubmission.

New feature

Native iOS and Android app: approvals, visits and customer lookup

The native mobile app is live on the App Store and Google Play, included on every tier and every seat. It covers customer and quote lookup, order and dispatch status, GPS visit check-in, and the approval queue with quoted price, cost and resulting margin on each request. Screens are built for a phone used with gloves in daylight, and tolerate the intermittent connectivity you get inside a steel building.

Integration

IndiaMART enquiries de-duplicate against existing accounts

IndiaMART enquiries now match against existing contacts and accounts on phone number and company name before a lead is created. A repeat buyer attaches to their existing record with the new enquiry on the timeline instead of creating a second account. Assignment rules can route on the enquired product or category, so a lead has an owner from the moment it exists.

New feature

Quote share links replace email attachments

Quotes now send as a browser share link rather than a PDF attachment. The buyer opens the quote without an account, sees the line items and every attached drawing, and can accept from the link. The quote record shows first-open time, most recent open and view count. Attachments no longer bounce off a customer's mail filter, and a 6 MB drawing set is no longer a delivery problem.

Compliance

Aadhaar eSign acceptance binds to a specific quote revision

Quote acceptance via Aadhaar eSign now attaches the signed document, signer name, timestamp and provider transaction reference to the exact revision that was signed. A later revision starts unsigned, so a signature never carries silently across a price change. The signed document travels to the order created from the accepted revision and stays with it for the life of the job.

Approval-first AI agents: RFQ extraction and quote follow-up

The first two AI agents are live on every tier. The RFQ Agent turns an enquiry email into a structured RFQ at two credits per extract; the Quote Follow-Up Agent drafts the chase message at one credit. Both stop for human approval before anything is created or sent, and each extracted field is displayed against the source text it came from so checking the work takes seconds rather than a re-read.

Before this

Anything older

This changelog starts in April 2026, when the first customer-visible release of the RFQ-to-Order workflow went out. Work before that date was pre-release development and we are not going to backfill it with entries dressed up as releases. What's shipping shows where every feature stands today.

Questions about this changelog

On every deploy, and at minimum weekly. If a week passes with no entry it means nothing customer-visible shipped that week, not that we stopped writing them down.
