KanchanFlow
Feature truth audit

What's shipping today. What we're building. What we're planning.

All 47 features in KanchanFlow, on one page, each labeled with the status it actually has.

Our position

We don't hide our roadmap. We don't promise features we haven't built. Every feature on this page is labeled with its current status.

In short

KanchanFlow is an RFQ-to-Order CRM for job shops and contract manufacturers, and this page lists all 47 of its features with their real status: 18 live in production today, 20 in development against a published milestone, and 9 planned with no committed date at all.

Diagram titled "Live, building and planned", showing the seven RFQ-to-order stages from enquiry intake through to accepted order.

GSTIN validation moves to live registry lookup

GSTIN validation on customer and vendor records now performs a live registry lookup instead of a format check. The returned registered legal name, trade name, state code, registration type and current status are written onto the party with a last-checked timestamp, and a mismatch against the name you typed is flagged. The state code feeds place-of-supply logic on every document raised for that party, so a wrong registration is caught before it produces a run of wrongly taxed invoices.

New feature

Orders module: Quote-as-Order, staged billing and partial dispatch

The orders module is live on every tier. An accepted quote revision converts to an order carrying its own line structure, and each line tracks ordered, dispatched and invoiced quantities independently so partial dispatch is the normal case rather than an exception. Staged billing supports advance, on-dispatch and milestone splits. The order stays open until all three quantities agree on every line, and keeps a permanent link back to the exact quote revision the customer accepted.

Improvement

Credit and debit notes reference their parent invoice

Credit and debit notes are now raised against a specific invoice rather than as free-standing documents. The note appears on both records, carries the parent's tax treatment, and reconciles into the same return period. Issued invoices are no longer editable — corrections go through a note, which is what keeps the trail defensible when a customer's accounts team queries a document a year later.

Improvement

Customer credit limits block dispatch before goods leave

A credit limit set on a customer is now checked when a dispatch is recorded, not at month end. When outstanding balance plus the value of the pending dispatch crosses the limit, the order flags before anything ships. Users with the right permission can override, and the override is written to the order with a name, a timestamp and the balance at the time of the decision.

New feature

WhatsApp broadcasts with segmented lists and delivery reporting

The WhatsApp Business Hub can now send an approved template to a filtered customer or dealer list as a broadcast, with delivery, read and reply counts reported back against the broadcast record. Replies thread onto the individual customer rather than into the broadcast, so a price-revision announcement that starts eleven conversations produces eleven threads on eleven accounts.

Questions about how we publish status

Because you will find out either way, and finding out on a sales call after a two-week evaluation is worse for both of us. Eight features on this page are marked planned and say plainly that they do not exist.
