KanchanFlow partner certification: two tracks, thirty hours, a real exam

A 20-hour Certified Implementer course and a further 10-hour Certified Manufacturing Consultant course, each ending in an exam and — for the base track — a delivered sandbox project. Free to approved partners, renewed annually, listed on a public register.

Diagram titled "The certification tracks", showing the seven RFQ-to-order stages from enquiry intake through to accepted order.

In short

KanchanFlow certification qualifies consultants to implement our RFQ-to-Order CRM for job shops and contract manufacturers. The Certified Implementer track is twenty hours plus an exam and a delivered sandbox project; Certified Manufacturing Consultant adds ten hours on RFQ workflow, CPQ, dealer management, e-invoicing and the audit trail.

Total course hours
30 hours
20 for Implementer, 10 more for Consultant.
Modules
14
9 in the base track, 5 in the advanced track.
Cost to an approved partner
No fee
Course, exam, two retakes and sandbox review included.
Renewal
Annual
Plus a short update module whenever a release changes examinable behaviour.

Certification exists for two reasons, and neither of them is marketing. The first is that a badly scoped implementation is the single most expensive thing that can happen to a shop that has finally decided to stop quoting from a spreadsheet — the owner does not get a second attempt at that internal argument. The second is that our tier ladder needs a verifiable input: Silver requires one certified consultant, Gold two, Platinum four, and those numbers only mean something if the credential behind them is hard to get.

So the exam has a real pass mark, the sandbox project is reviewed against a published rubric by a person, and the credential expires. It is free to an approved partner because we want it to be difficult rather than expensive.

20 hours9 modules

KanchanFlow Certified Implementer

The base credential. Twenty hours of online course, an exam, and one sandbox project delivered end to end. It certifies that you can configure a workspace, migrate a shop off spreadsheets and hand a live system to an estimator without our help.

Prerequisite
None. Open to any employee of an approved Registered partner.
Assessment
80-question product exam (pass mark 80%) plus a delivered sandbox project reviewed by our team against a published rubric.

Course outline

  1. 1

Manufacturing sales fundamentals for implementers · 2 hours

How a job shop actually gets from an inbound RFQ to a purchase order: estimator workload, the quote-follow-up gap, why shops lose work to no-decision rather than to a competitor, and where a CRM helps versus where it gets in the way.

  2. 2

Platform architecture and the anti-position · 2 hours

Objects, relationships and permissions. What KanchanFlow owns (RFQ, quote, revision, order handoff, dealer, territory) and what it deliberately does not (ERP, MRP, CAD, BOM, advanced CPQ) — so you scope engagements honestly.

  3. 3

RFQ intake and lead source configuration · 2 hours

Email intake and AI extraction, marketplace and web-form capture, manual entry for phone RFQs, deduplication rules, and qualification scoring thresholds tuned to the shop's real win rate.

  4. 4

Quoting, cost buildup and revision control · 3 hours

The 4-column cost buildup, margin guardrails, quantity breaks, alternate variants, the quote diff view, and unlimited revision history — including how to explain Rev 0 to Rev 7 traceability to an owner who has only ever used a spreadsheet.

  5. 5

Approval engine and workflow automation · 2 hours

Approval rules by margin, value and customer, escalation paths, notification design that does not train people to ignore alerts, and the automation patterns that survive contact with a busy shop.

  6. 6

Data migration and workspace setup · 3 hours

Field mapping from spreadsheets and legacy CRM exports, deduplication and cleanup, staged import, the go-live cutover checklist, and rollback if the cutover goes wrong.

  7. 7

Integrations and order handoff · 3 hours

REST API basics, webhook design, the accounting connectors (Tally, Zoho Books, QuickBooks), payments (Razorpay, Stripe), and building the ERP order-handoff boundary at quote acceptance.

  8. 8

Training, adoption and the 30-day check · 2 hours

Role-based training for owner, estimator, inside sales and shop-floor mobile users; the adoption metrics that predict churn; and running the 30-day post-go-live review so problems surface while they are still cheap.

  9. 9

Sandbox project and exam · 1 hour

Project brief walkthrough, the review rubric, exam format and retake policy. The sandbox project is delivered in your own partner sandbox and reviewed against the same rubric for every candidate.

Track two

KanchanFlow Certified Manufacturing Consultant

The advanced credential, and the one that counts toward the Silver, Gold and Platinum tier requirements.

10 hours5 modules

KanchanFlow Certified Manufacturing Consultant

A further ten hours on top of the Implementer credential, covering the advanced surface: RFQ workflow design, CPQ boundaries, dealer and distributor management, e-invoicing and the immutable audit trail. This is the credential that counts toward Silver, Gold and Platinum tier requirements.

Prerequisite
Certified Implementer, held and current.
Assessment
Scenario-based exam with two written case responses, graded by a member of our team rather than auto-marked.

Course outline

  1. 1

Advanced RFQ workflow design · 2 hours

Designing intake and triage for a shop taking 60+ RFQs a week: routing by commodity and machine group, qualification scoring calibration, no-quote discipline, and measuring estimator capacity honestly.

  2. 2

CPQ boundaries and cost model design · 2 hours

Building a defensible cost model — material, labor, outside process, overhead — with margin guardrails and quantity breaks, and knowing exactly where our 4-column buildup stops and a real CPQ or ERP costing engine has to start.

  3. 3

Dealer and distributor management · 2 hours

The 5-level dealer hierarchy, the 7-level territory tree, dealer portal rollout, dealer health scoring, and channel conflict rules that hold up when two dealers claim the same account.

  4. 4

E-invoicing and India regulatory features · 2 hours

GST, GSTIN validation, HSN, e-Invoice IRN generation and the MSMED Section 43B(h) tracker — scoped for USA manufacturers with India operations, India-based contract customers, or export exposure to India. Included on every tier, never an upsell.

  5. 5

Immutable audit trail and compliance engagements · 2 hours

The immutable audit log, what it does and does not prove, and how to position it for ITAR, PPAP, USMCA and Buy America work — including the sentence you must be able to say out loud: KanchanFlow is the CRM, not the certifier.

The path

From application to public register

Six steps. Most partners get a first consultant through the Implementer track inside a month while running normal client work.

  1. 1

    Get your firm approved

Apply to the partner program. Certification seats are issued with the partner agreement, so approval comes first.

  2. 2

    Work the Implementer course

Nine modules, 20 hours, online and self-paced, with a live monthly Q&A session with the product team.

  3. 3

    Pass the Implementer exam

Eighty questions, 80% pass mark, drawn from all nine modules and weighted toward configuration and migration. Two retakes are included with a 14-day wait between attempts.

  4. 4

    Deliver the sandbox project

Build a working configuration end to end in your own partner sandbox — intake, quoting, approvals, a migration and an order handoff — reviewed by our team against a published rubric.

  5. 5

    Add the Consultant track

Five further modules and 10 hours covering advanced RFQ workflow, CPQ boundaries, dealer management, e-invoicing and the immutable audit trail.

  6. 6

Pass the scenario exam and get listed

Two written case responses graded by a person on our team. On a pass you are added to the public certification register, once your firm approves the listing in writing.

How certification maps to partner tier

Certified headcount is one of three inputs to a tier, alongside referred paying customers and — at Gold and above — a published case study with a customer-approved before-and-after. Certification alone does not move a tier, and neither does volume alone.

Certification is a necessary but not sufficient condition for every tier above Registered.
TierCertified consultants requiredFull tier requirement
RegisteredNoneApply, reviewed and approved
Silver1 certified consultant on staff5 paying customers referred + 1 certified consultant on staff
Gold2 certified consultants on staff15 paying customers + 2 certified consultants + 1 published case study
Platinum4 certified consultants on staff40+ paying customers + 4 certified consultants + verified regional coverage

What it does and does not mean

Certification proves knowledge. It is not an endorsement.

This distinction is written into the partner agreement and enforced. Misrepresenting it is grounds for revocation.

What a certificate says

  • A named individual passed our exam at the published pass mark
  • That individual delivered a sandbox project reviewed against a published rubric
  • The credential is current, with a renewal date on the public register
  • The individual has covered the modules listed on this page, including the anti-position

What it does not say

  • That Soor LLC endorses the individual's firm, its other products, or its commercial terms.
  • That an engagement will succeed. We warrant our software, not a consultancy's delivery.
  • That the firm holds a territory, an exclusive, or a tier above the one on its directory listing.
  • Anything about ERP, MRP, CAD, BOM or advanced CPQ competence. Module 2 exists specifically to teach where our boundary is.

The public certification register is how a manufacturer checks a claim: the individual's name, the tracks held, the issue date and the renewal date, published once the firm approves its listing in writing. If someone tells you they are KanchanFlow certified and they are not on the register, they are not certified — email [email protected] and we will deal with it.

Certification questions

Nothing for an approved partner. Course access, the exam, two retakes and the sandbox project review are included with the partner agreement. There is no per-seat certification fee and no charge for the annual product-version update modules.
